Any solution? Just open the device manager and install the old one driver from OS doesn't work.

1. Try the driver from Redmibook site Mi India

2. If there is no Windows 11 Realtek driver installed and the one from Redmibook doesn't install try this:
Go to settings-Windows update-check for updates. Let it scan computer.
Then in search type Optional updates. In search results click on View Optional updates.
Windows update should give you a list of optional driver updates. See if Realtek is there. If it is, install it.

If neither of these options work, post back.

Sounds issues can be one of the most frustrating to fix.Try these suggestions. Check to see if you have sound after each step.

1.. Settings-system-sound-under "choose where to play sound" make sure Speakers (Realtek Audio) is selected as default. Click arrow to the right
and make sure it looks like this.
sound.png

2.. Disable audio enhancements. Search for ‘Change system sounds’. In the ‘Sound’ panel, navigate to the ‘Playback’ tab, select speakers and click on ‘Properties’ at the bottom. In the ‘Properties’ window, navigate to the ‘advanced’ tab, uncheck audio enhancements, and click on ‘OK’

3.. Make sure the sound services are running. In search type 'services'. Open services app. If they are already running, restart each of them. There are 3 services for audio.
  • Windows Audio
  • Windows Audio Endpoint Builder
  • Remote Procedure Call
4. Run the sound troubleshooter. Settings-system-troubleshoot- other troubleshooters. Locate the ‘Playing Audio’ troubleshooter and click on ‘Run’ next to it. The troubleshooter will scan for the various audio output devices on your system and list them. Select Speakers-Realtek Audio and click on ‘Next’ at the bottom. Windows will now identify any issues with the device or configured settings and fix them. Follow the on-screen instructions and choose the necessary response when prompted to complete the troubleshooting process. Restart.

5. If still no sound go to device manager-right click on Realtek HD Audio device-select uninstall. Make sure box is checked that says 'delete driver software for this device'. Restart. Now in device manager under sound, it should show the default Windows audio driver rather than Realtek. You should get some kind of sound with this default driver.

6. Right click on Windows audio device and select "update driver". Choose search automatically. See if Windows can find an appropriate Realtek driver. If it doesn't, there is a good chance that there is not an appropriate Windows 11 driver yet and you will have to use the Windows default driver. However, at this point you can attempt to install the driver you got from Redmibook again. It MIGHT install correctly this time. If you try to reinstall it and end up with the same issue, repeat step 5 again to revert back to the Windows default driver. You can also go to Realtek PC Audio Codecs > High Definition Audio Codecs Software - REALTEK and try the 64 bit Windows 10 driver listed there. It may or may not work. Again, if it doesn't do step 5 again to get back to the Windows default driver.

Hopefully, one of these suggestions will help. Let us know.
