Solved Reduce RAM usage in Windows 11 as a professional

Well, here's the thing the reason Windows 10/11 keeps lots of items in memory is that when items are needed, access is almost instantaneous - idling with 2 GB RAM is quite normal. In the end, put more RAM (8 GB minimum but 16 GB better).

The days when you had to tweak lots of services to get significantly better performance is a thing of the past with modern CPUs and RAM.

The only services I disable are from 3rd party apps. Just let Windows do its job.
Easy to say that with a modern Windows 11 compliant computer. What about an old unsupported one with maximum 4GB RAM or even 2GB RAM? Adding more RAM is not always possible. DDR2 modules have maximum capacity 2GB, so an old laptop can be 4GB maximum. Of course there is no need to stop half the services, just uninstall features you don't need so they don't use any resources in the first place. As I said in my previous post, start by disabling startup applications and useless non-Microsoft services, such as Google Update. Also disable visual effects and see if you have any performance improvement.

disabling third party services is an easy task. just set it as manual or create a shortcut which runs a batch file containing start service command and then opens your app. the difficult part is to find unnecessary windows services for your own usage. it's more than 2 months that I'm complaining with windows components, features and services and recently I created a smooth and stable configuration for myself. now I'm trying to make it better and more reliable so i can publish it for other users.

right now, with this configuration (stable) 1GB of 8GB RAM is occupied and 75 processes are running in the background. I have installed more than 20 apps and an antivirus.

with these changes, my laptop fan is silent, it's not hot anymore and also battery dies after 4 hours which is 1 hour more than before.
everything's running smoothly and fast.

this took me 2 months to learn which part is essential and which part is not. I'm still learning and trying to find better solutions.

Then don't be shocked if you get issues. I don't disable any service on mine and I don't run into issues.
