Used the Close the language bar option but the button is still showing up.

What about:
reg add "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Control Panel\International" /f /v BlockUserInputMethodsForSignIn /t reg_dword /d 1

I don't remember if a reboot is required.
