Hi Guys, Me again.... Anyone know how to remove pintohomefile from the right click context menu? I am using the "old" win 10 style menus.

Do you mean the "Add to Favorites" context menu item below? pintohomefile is the registry key it uses.

This is what comes up on my context menu, it may have started when I installed windows photo viewer and/or windows photo viewer legacy, both of which I have now uninstalled but it is there for files but not folders. Thanks for speedy reply

It looks like something messed with the "Add to Favorites" registry entries.

Using option 2 above should still remove it.

Using option 1 above should fix it to say "Add to Favorites" again if wanted.

I had that pintohomefile line in context menus all over the place. I used @Brink's Remove-Add_to_Home_context_menu.reg, and it disappeared everywhere. Thanks, SB!
