Windows 11 Pro. Version 23H2, Build 10.0.22631
Many moons ago, I found an article that detailed how to remove unwanted folders from C:\user\{name}.
Today, I tried to locate the article to delete them on a new installation, and, of course, I could not find it.

See the attached image. If I am correct, none of these folders need to be there. In addition, I question why the bottom three are there at all.1692559322295.png

Hi Tom.

These tutorials may be what you’re looking for?
As for the last 3 entries, you may have to wait for someone more knowledgable that I am.
Cheers 🙏

From a brief search of the interwebs, the last 3 entries are files that store data like attached (or no longer attached) devices/printers etc that have ip addresses necessary for for identification on your network. I believe deleting these files would have no effect, less it may be required to re-add devices. So whether they re-appear again, I am not sure.

Again, someone more knowledgable than I could probably tell you.

For reference, someone here is wondering how an ip scanner is picking up old printer entries no longer attached to their PC. There is a final entry in the thread explaining that deleting the files in question, would remove old devices no longer used.

I am assuming you have one or both of these entries unchecked? Otherwise you may not ordinarily see the 3 files in question.

antspants:
Thank you for your reply and suggestions.

The first link is close to what I am looking for, however, the second paragraph of that link is exactly what I need to delete.

"Your account's user profile folder contains personal folders such as the 3D Objects, Contacts, Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Favorites, Links, Music, OneDrive, Pictures, Saved Games, Searches, and Videos folders."

The second link has already been accomplished.

Thank you.

I have not found the tweak I was looking for but I found a batch file that removed the unwanted folders.
It could use some work, but if you are patient with it, you will be able to remove multiple folders.
