Right-click context menu 'New' is missing an application

When I right click in a folder, one option is 'New'. That brings up applications installed on my WIN 11 PC. Examples are MS Office programs like Excel and Text Document and several programs in the WordPerfect Office X9 suite. But it does not bring up the WordPerfect X9 program itself. How can I fix the context menu so that WordPerfect X9 itself shows up under 'New'?

Not sure I understand what you're asking, but this may help.
This tweak will bring back the Windows 10 type context menus...

Nope. I'm talking about the window(s) that pop up when I right click in a folder. The first window gives me the option 'New'. Clicking 'New' brings up applications from MS Office programs, like Excel, and Text Document and several programs in the WordPerfect Office X9 suite. But it does not bring up WordPerfect X9 program itself. How can I fix the context menu so that WordPerfect X9 itself shows up in this 2nd window? See image.

Sorry... I can't help with that. I don't use any kind of Office program. :(

The only thing I CAN think of, is that when you installed WP X9 did it ask if you wanted to "add" it to the context menu(s)?
Or maybe something in WP X9's preferences or settings?

No. And unfortunately for me, it added the WP X9 applications that I DON'T use, not the one that I DO use.

That would be the only way to add a program to the "new "menu. Perhaps you want to just edit the file type for opening in the program in the "open with" context menu. I really am unsure what it is you want. Are you just wanting to open a file with the other program? In that case if the program is registered then you can choose to open a file type through the open with menu. To add a program to "new" menu you will have to end up editing the registry, I think. The program itself will need to be registered.
This may be useful. It is all about file types. On the left side is a menu to go to what you want to accomplish. Application registration may be of interest to you.
