Rugged Resolution

Hello All, before I begin I just wanted to thank you all for the help you've given me over the years. It is truly appreciated.

I recently had to start using my TV as my monitor because my laptop monitor is in the garbage. My TV is a 50 inch which as you all know its pretty large. The problem is that back when I had my original monitor on my laptop images that were sized 1100x800 were crystal clear. The image I have included in this thread is 800x550 and the resolution sucks. Is there some way to scale my TV display to accommodate the image resolution so that my TV will also make the images look as good as my laptop did? I tried googling it before I bothered you all with it but all I got were older tips from like 5 years ago. I just want my images to be smooth like they were with the laptop monitor. My view of this image not clear and too pixelated. Does it look the same on your laptops or is it clearer?

Keep in mind that your TV is probably HD resolution (1920 x 1080). Have you tried setting the graphics to that resolution to see if it works? Smaller resolutions will get expanded by the TV and thus be terrible at resolution.

Maybe that will work.

You should zip up the original image and upload it here and we'll check it out
