I actually have own a four pack license to Macrium and thats all I use or trust. Reason I wanted to do this was as result of a SSD upgrade gone bad. Long story short had a solo boot disk in M.1 slot with an AMD X670E raid array setup in M.2 + M.3. So I cloned the boot drive onto a new pci-e 5.0 drive, had pcie 4.0 prior, and after performing the swap it booted but locked up, failed to load repeatedly into logon, and blue screened. So I thought stick with AHCI and installed fresh copy of windows and had multiple road blocks. First the 24H2 installer asked for network drivers which felt stupid because X670E been around for a couple years and you would think microsoft would have included them in there. After that had to deal with Onedrive messing up my hard drive with littered files from ten other computers. Even after uninstalling onedrive had to restore the desktop, download, documents and picture folders back to their default locations which was a pain. Then I thought lets try turning on AMD raid again and installed AMD raid drivers proactively and set safeboot mode on in msconfig and rebooted into bios only to find that the boot drive was missing and only visible within the RAID manager in bios. Couldn't figure out how to enable the M.1 boot drive no matter what and then went back AHCI mode where I couldn't enter my pin anymore.
Anyhow like those instructions you guys posted but the dell instruction is for Intel raid not AMD so not sure about it. Fwiw I did a similar upgrade on my other pc which was a z590 rig with only other exception no hardware raid and it went silky smooth. I only had a hard time screwing in the heatsink upright. Go figure I ended up with a screw loose on top of everything else! Lol.
