Solved Samsung 990Pro 4TB
Windows is telling me in Task Manager and Device Manager that my 4TB is a 2TB drive. Bios reports 4TB and so does HWinfo, Crystal Disk Info,Samsung magician and AIDA64.
Even the formatted capacity is shown as a 4TB disk in TM and DM. So this must be another bug in Windows. Just curious to know if anyone else has seen this.

Well the good news is that disk management sees it correctly and you can use the disk drive. Not sure why Device Manager is reading it wrong.....but that shouldn't cause any issues.....it's just odd.

@pparks1 It's not a problem like I said the formatted size is 3.6 TB so it's a 4TB drive. Strange that Device Manager and Task Manager report it as 2TB. Just wondered if anyone else had come across this.

Hi,
Yeah if you noticed my 970 os m.2 doesn't show any amount
Only thing that counts is I know what size it is and so does all disk tools like yours do so yes I'm seeing similar win-11 device manager inconsistencies as well.

Device Manager should
Definitely not list your drive as the 2TB model when you have the 4TB model.
I have the same exact drive and model myself and this is what Device Manager shows for me:
Have you checked for Firmware updates through Samsung Magician?
The 4TB model should come with Firmware version 0B2QJXG7 out of the box,
but you should let it update to 4B2QJXD7 (if it's not already on that version).

If the drive works like it should (outside of the name in Device Manager) then i suppose it's not really an issue,
just really strange that Device Manager reports the wrong model name lol.
Only other thing i can think of to try, is to update your Motherboard's Intel Chipset drivers.
