Samsung Smart Switch install fails

I am attempting to install Samsung Smart Switch version 4.3.23011.1

This error message results

So downloaded the file from the MS site. Installing that file gives a similar message

The x64 version installs ok but the Samsung Smart Switch seems to want the x86 file

Can anyone suggest a fix please?

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I have tried everything recommended.
Even re-loaded Windows 11
The suggested action was
Uninstall all of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages from the PC, 2005, 2008, etc., both x86 and x64
- Install only Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86), regardless if the PC/W is x86 or x 64
- Install Smart Switch

It is the second stage that is causing the problem (install the x86 package) and gives the top error message in my post above

Any suggestions how to install successfully? The x64 will install with no problem
