This is a persistent problem. I have switched from GTX 1080 to a asus rtx 3060 in septemberand this problem occurs where coming from startup or sleep, the screen turns on and displays during startup but gets no signal after windows loads, or coming from sleep the screen gets no signal. I have tried to analyse it and used malwarebytes, changed a bunch of settings like power linkstate, preventing pcie poweroff etc, nothing seems to work. I even returned the gpu and got a new one but this still persists. I am now sure it is a software issue. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Personally i'd uninstall the display drivers, reboot the machine then reinstall the most up to date available version.

Did that, didnt work. I tried using many versions, switched between gaming and studio. Nothing worked. That is why I believe it is a system issue

After reviewing your computer specs in your profile, it looks like your CPU (i7-12700K) actually has on-board internal graphics capabilities. I would suggest removing your discrete graphics card and testing your system's behavior when using the internal UHD graphics on the chip.

If the system works normally when using internal graphics, there are two items that need to be examined.
One is the settings in your BIOS that tell the system which graphic output to use (Internal or Discrete card) and then secondly, we return to the original topic of this thread regarding drivers for the discrete graphics card.

I have changed my bios settings already to load with external graphics
