    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
The biggest problem I have is finding good screen background material in 5120 x 1440 format! When I was running 1920x1080, I had 3,000 images in a folder for my screen saver. Now I have 700, and some of them are probably not what I would pick if I could find better material.

I wrote my own screensaver :-). It's based upon a screen saver from years and years ago where the author dropped support for Windows and only supports Mac now. So wrote my own version of it. Read from top to bottom, highly customizable as well.

I like the one at LiveScreensaver.com

It lets you use YouTube content as your screensaver. My daughter has it setup to show a live watering hole in Africa. I have it showing a (recorded) feed of a neon beach. My son has a live train cam. cool stuff

One of the simplest ones is the Wallpaper Screensaver, just click on the tiny executable and your respective wallpaper becomes the screensaver.

If you're just looking to save wear & tear on your monitor screen, you can just use the Blank screen saver.

I don't think any modern monitor needs a screensaver anymore. It's why I prefer the livecams and youtube feeds as screensavers. Keeps it interesting. I've seen so much wildlife on my daughter's setup using the one I mentioned above. very cool
