Windows 11 Pro Version 22H2(OS Build 22621.963)
Can any of you recommend a flawless software/Extension for Firefox or Windows 11 that I can use to do this?
Been using Techsmith Snagit off and on for a couple years and worked great in the past but new versions seemingly
are flawed. I start scrolling a chosen region using the crosshairs and say i'm doing a pdf that has 150 pages, well it works
until it gets to like 100 to 120 pages and the app just ghosts. It closes. So I need to be able to use cross hairs to choose the scrolling window area I want to capture in whatever your suggestions are. And it would have to be able to do PDFs with as many pages as there are without flaking out.

UPDATE: I just tried 4 different softwares and none work right. (sharex, snipping tool, awesome screenshot and Snagit of course)

Perhaps none of my business, but, why!?!?!?

Yes, when using Panoramic Scrolling Capture mode in Snagit, it does crash at about 100 pages...,

However, when using Window Capture mode, the size is supposedly unlimited, however, there will be lots of imperfections in the final image, and, most Windows applications won't know how to deal with an image that large! I've captured about 275 pages in Window Capture mode but the image is 648 x 235309 pixels!!!

The image I captured is 54.6MB while the entire PDF, all 1871 pages, is only 7.18MB!

I have been using Snagit for years, but never for anything like what you're attempting. They do have a support forum, which I have used, and maybe posting there could help. The site is; https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us
