Solved Search on Taskbar will not search Internet

No longer can search internet from taskbar search window. Have tried numerous suggestions from internet but none work. Can search PC as everything indexed. SFC scan says no corrupted files.

Thanks for the response...unfortunately, there is no WEB button.

In that case, test using option 1 and/or 2 in the tutorial above to add, and see if that fixes it afterwards.

Can you check the reg:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
"DisableSearchBoxSuggestions"=dword:00000000

If 1 >> No Web Search

if 0 >> Web Search

Only thing in Explorer is: "(Default) REG_SZ (value not set)"

Get Fluent Search and be done with it! Windows Search offers limited search capabilities.
