That's all I get too. I've never gotten any ads. I did a clean install on my System One last night. I got the standard suggestions to add items that would normally be expected. I love having a nice fresh, clean computer.

Come on guys, I can't believe I'm the only one here that use to get ads. 🤣 Especially MS 365 and Onedrive ads. It was going on for a few years.

And since this is a OneDrive thread, I'll add that I also love having both System One and System Two log in to the same Microsoft 365 account having the same included 1 TB of OneDrive. Both computers always have identically the same data mirrored in real-time. I can transparently move between either computer at any time and keep right on working. For me, it's hard to put a price tag on having a two-computer system that works like that.

In many cases the ads stem from the installed apps, so if the apps are PROPERLY (a la RevoUninstaller) removed, there are no ads.

Also the start menu ad- board is easily removed with a reg tweak. I've removed all the apps (avec Revo) but have no 3rd party Windows tweakers installed - I don't get any ads.

Ah, but many of us including myself have never installed MS 365, and I removed Onedrive with Revo from all my machines. As I said the ads are all gone now with the last couple Windows builds but previously the Onedrive and MS 365 ads could not be permanently removed on prior builds as WU would keep adding them back. Well aware of the reg tweak for the Start menu search board as this is a pic of mine. 😉

Well, I removed everything I could find in Revo for both including under the Windows app list. 🤷🏽‍♂️

But, once my OS is up and running and my essential programs are functioning properly, I turn off all useless stuff.
I was fortunate to witness my sister firing up her new laptop and, she was actually enticed by all the garbage Windows threw at her..., I had the pleasure of telling her over and over "No! Turn it off, you don't need that sh*t!!!" :cool:

That image wasn't mine as I use dark mode, just an example since they're gone now but you're right I do us a MS Account and got those same nags. Just hoping the ads stay gone now under their newer kinder Windows they're now implementing Lol.
