Selecting a folder from the application bar doesn't work

I want to open a folder from the folder Icon on the application bar. When I select the Folder icon then go up to the folder I want, nothing happens. it just closes down.

Works okay for me. Try restarting Windows Explorer. Run this code in a command prompt.

taskkill /im explorer.exe /f & start explorer.exe

If that doesn't work, try un-pinning and re-pinning a folder and see if it opens.
