I just sent a mail message from Gmail and now i cannot see it under the Sent Items under the New Outlook app.

Since Google decided to disable IMAP for all Gmail accounts, its been a real pain since they did this...

I re-added my Google/Gmail account in the New Outlook app and still unable to see the sent items which shows under the Gmail using the browser.

So in other words, the Gmail messages that are kept in the Gmail browser will not sync to the New Outlook app?

By the way, the Gmail messages are not syncing to the Outlook app on my phone either and I am signed in to my Google account as well.

Never Mind.

I just cleared my MS Edge browser cache and temp files and I opened up the New Outlook app and the sent message now appeared.

However, on my Android phone, still not seeing it on the Outlook app.

Yes, they did. IMAP no longer supported for Gmail accounts.
You can still setup a Gmail Account using IMAP in the Old Outlook and other 3rd Party Apps using IMAP.
Google stopped supporting Microsoft Exchange for use with Free GMail accounts.

According to Google
"Yes, a paid Gmail account, as part of Google Workspace, can be integrated with Microsoft Exchange, allowing users to manage their Gmail emails, calendars, and contacts through Outlook. This integration is facilitated by Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook (GWSMO)."

No they didn't

I think you'll find it was Microsoft who changed the rules by "routing" any/all email, from whatever service provider, through Microsoft Exchange servers.

Credit where credit's due, and criticism where criticism's due

Gmail accounts still allow (require) IMAP with 3rd party email clients (eMClient, Thunderbird, Mailbird, etc), it's just Microsoft's perverted controls with any of its iterations of Outlook as an email client.

I'm a past IT professional but well-and-truly retired of many years, so many things have changed since I was at the "chip-face"

But, however, I still get can-you-help-me approaches, and problems with MS Outlook is frequently top of the list. I take the coward's way out ... No, I don't do MS Outlook (or any of its iterations). Will gladly help set up Thunderbird/eMClient, but not MS Outlook ... it's just not worth the frustration (Ditto OneDrive)
