Hey guys whenever I go to open windows security, CPU pegs at 100%, and just get a black screen for upto 5 mins before anything appears, but if use the "apps" folder in the startbar it takes about 20 secs to appear. Any ideas? v22000.469

Sometimes through the setting app or in the notification list. Through the notification list is when it takes ages to fully populate the window. If I use the "apps" proggy it open almost straight away. Not really a problem just annoying.

Is you i5 windows 11 compatible or did you use a bypass method. I see your pc is "custom" I would have a look at settings, there are many posts on the net about 100% CPU usage
here is just one

Yes it is compatible, i5-8400. The custom bit is just me building it myself!

Great, that if you do it yourself, so you know how it is all set up I still think googling High CPU usage may bring up something helpful
