Hello fellow Martians.
[It doesn't have to be the Kaspersky method]
This might be a tall order. I have been trying to find a method for some time to have a shortcut for blocking network activity on my PC, any type would do but I’ve been specifically asking for a link to the Kaspersky aspect of this idea because it is available in the software to run.
It used to be you could right click on the system icon and do it from there but with Kaspersky (premium), that option is no longer available.
I would suppose you would need to be running this software to be able to create it, if it is at all possible.
If you use the software you would probably know, opening Kaspersky and going to ‘Security’ then clicking on ‘View’ in ‘Network Monitor‘ on the right will open the ‘Network Activity‘ screen. It is from in there that I would like to utilize the “Block All Network Activity” action.
But... as @garlin said, it's probably UI-based and doesn't support scripting.
Any other method to achieve this would be great. It's all about saving vital seconds. Everything adds up.
