I didn't move my Yeti since. But I do have an Elgato Wave 1 on order.
The thing about these Yetis, they don't have to be in front of you to use it. That is where my Yeti is when I am using it. It picks up my voice really well without moving it closer. I ran a coiled cable at the back of my monitor where it is plugged in (the monitor has built in USB hub).
