Been using the light bar version for a few years now. It adjusts automatically to lighting conditions. You can also change the color temp.

Joining Eleven, after many years of reading thru its pages quite a lot.
Best to start with this, the PC and setup. For Work & Gaming. Got 2 more laptops around me.
Went for a SFX setup open air, for max Cool & Quiet setup. Only the cheap TeamGroup SSd makes some noise but it`s not in use outside of gaming when Gpu Fans ramp up. Otherwise it`s as quiet as a cemetery.
Watering the plant is dangerous though so I take it aside for the op:) .

I can't have any lighting on the screen, because it will reflect off of the coating of the Alienware AW3423DWF OLED.

It's adjustable. You can rotate it away from the screen.

I just did an entire software revision overhall:

This February, the Western Digital Black SN850 1 TB was wiped and I installed 23H2 on the 2nd.

Now I have:

Windows 11 23H2

Adrenalin 24.1.1

Unlike posts on the internet, I don't have the "Adrenalin unexpected failure" bug on every boot.

Already 2 Alienware AW3423DWF firmware updates this month, LOL.

I suspect that Adrenalin issue, is because of hybrid-sleep actually causing Windows to not be shut down properly. I ran

Code:

powercfg /H off

and I still have yet to see Windows report an error in the event log about Windows being rebooted unexpectedly.

I've not shown a build in a long time and did one in late 2021, and another in 2023 so thought I'd show some pics; they are non-identical twins being built in the same case (Fractal Design Meshify 2) and on the same motherboard (Asus Z590-A Gaming WIFI) and with the same CPU (Intel i7 10700K). Other components differ.

That's a very nice build very similar to one I had. Still using the case - great case. Good cabling.

Below is a 10900k with Asus ROG 2070 super.
I am now using newer components. I need to take some new images and post them. Now have EK Nucleus 360 AIO and a Asus ROG 4070 TI amongst other upgrades. Same case.

That's a nice build you have there as well. I looked at a Lian Li before building the second one but then I like the Meshify so well decided to just get another which made the cable management easy just copying what I did in the first.

That pic was taken, right after a major cleaning.
I bought that case in 2008 or 2009. Now, in 2024, it's only gonna get so clean.
Some of the dirt is... baked in by now.

And yes, the bottom fan is doing something.
I did smoke tests when I was setting up the fans, 15 years ago.
Below, is pretty much how the air flows in my case...

NOTE: The large front intake and the two large top exhausts are 230mm fans (110 cfm each).
All the rest are 120mm fans. Somewhere around 70-80 cfm each.
