Apps Sign in or Sign out of Copilot

This tutorial will show you how how to sign in or sign out of Copilot with your Microsoft account on Web, Edge, and app in Windows 11.

The Microsoft Copilot app is an AI here to give advice, inspiration, and help when you need a hand. You can start a conversation to get clear answers to tough questions, turn ideas into images, or polish your writing until it shines.

Signing into Copilot using your personal Microsoft Account gives you access to your chat history, image creation, longer conversations, voice interactions, and other Copilot features.

1 Open the copilot.com site or Copilot app on Windows 11.

2 Perform an available action you want below: (see screenshot below)

• Click/tap on a Microsoft account you want to sign in to Copilot with.
• Click/tap on the Continue with Microsoft, Continue with Apple, or Continue with Google button to sign in to Copilot with another account or create one to sign in with.

1 Open the copilot.com site or Copilot app on Windows 11.

2 Click/tap on the Account button on the sidebar. (see screenshot below)


3 Perform an available action you want below: (see screenshot below)

• Click/tap on another listed account you want to sign in to Copilot with.
• Click/tap on the Sign in with a different account link.

4 If you clicked/tapped on Sign in with a different account, then perform an available action you want below: (see screenshot below)

• Click/tap on a Microsoft account you want to sign in to Copilot with.
• Click/tap on the Continue with Microsoft, Continue with Apple, or Continue with Google button to sign in to Copilot with another account or create one to sign in with.

1 Open the copilot.com site or Copilot app on Windows 11.

2 Click/tap on the Account button on the sidebar. (see screenshot below)


3 Click/tap on Sign out. (see screenshot below)






1 Sign in or Sign out of Microsoft Edge to also Sign in or Sign out of Copilot in Edge.
