Snipping Tool

In the Snipping Tool, I would like to see the following options added to Pen menu:
1. Constrain pen to a rectangle.
2. Constrain pen to an oval.

There is a Rectangle choice and more on the drop down but not the oval [which I use Paint to get]:

Have you looked at the "Mode" pull down tab.

I think the OP means for annotating...

The Snipping Tool Editor is embarrassingly limited!!!
Try pasting your snip into Paint.

Better yet..., get a real capture/markup tool like ShareX or Greenshot!

Sorry for being so blunt, but, I'm really getting tired of MS releasing these optionless kindergarten apps that are capable of sweet diddly!

I downloaded SpaceX from Microsoft Store. This app provides the annotation that I is missing from Snipping Tool. Possible downside is it offers TOO MANY options.
I also downloaded Greenshot (not from Microsoft Store) and immediately found a problem. When I try to run Greenshot, it displays the following error message:


If I try to Uninstall Greenshot I get a message telling me that it is already running (and therefor can't be uninstalled.

There is no obvious indication on the screen that this program is running.
Have you any suggestions to either get Greenshot to run properly or to uninstall it.

Right-click the Start button, choose Task Manager, check Processes for the file/program and End Task then try to uninstall.

I have now successfully uninstalled Greenshot using Task Manager > Processes.

It runs in the background. Whenever I try to start Greenshot, I get a message "An instance of Greenshot is already running".
