Is possible to change Windows 11 taskbar height? I find it pretty wide.

If you don't mind using a third party freebee like Winareo Tweaker you can adjust it thinner or wider but be aware it will also reduce your icon size and will misalign the date with your clock if you show the date.

Tried enabling classic menu with Winaero Tweaker, but turns out that the Win key no longer brings up the start menu, so it's dysfunctional. Ended up leaving the stock taskbar as Microsoft intends it.

Just so your aware in Winaero if you go to the Windows 11 section near the top it has a taskbar size key in it. IMO the small size setting looks like crap though.

Just tried now changing from System Default to Small, and yes, language bar and time/date are shifted downwards, so they are cut almost in half. For now I'll leave it as default, W11 is not yet ready for UI customization.

StartAllBack does it for me. Adjustable Taskbar Height with just a simple click & drag. Well worth the $4.99.
