Some *web* pages not displaying fonts correctly: at a loss here

Try to block untrusted fonts, disable Fonts cache service.
Code:

reg add "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\MitigationOptions" /v "MitigationOptions_FontBocking" /t REG_SZ /d "1000000000000" /f
sc config FontCache start= disabled
Thanks for the suggestion.

There's no malware, I have tested/ran scans extensively.

I'm in the process at the moment in creating a Rufus installation USB of Windows to install it from scratch. I shall report back my results soon.

Ok so I reinstalled Windows. Here's what happened:

1. I performed a clean install of Windows 11, no upgrade. W11 didn't identify my 15 month old 32 inch Lenovo monitor. I had to install the driver which puzzled me because it's a basic monitor

2. W11 didn't install my Lenovo software and I had to install it from the Windows Store: Lenovo Vantage

3. W11 didn't recognize/correctly several drivers:
  • Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver - 10 [64] - 17.9.0.1007
  • Intel Serial-IO (SIO) Driver (Windows 10 Version 1909) - 10 [64] - 30.100.2020.7
  • Realtek LAN Driver - 10 [64] - 10.42.526.2020
  • Intel VGA Driver (Windows 10 Version 1909) - 10 [64] - 27.20.100.8729
4. I checked the problematic websites' fonts and they all appear correctly

5. W11 Settings font appear similar to the fonts I had issues with , but not to the same extent. They are a bit faded, light, not crisp. Screenpics are shown for reference. They are present when I right-click on a blank part of the screen and select a Windows Setting option.

I enabled Clear type and I had issues in step 4 jumping to a random box and then selecting the one I want (again) I automatically jump to step 5 without needing to select NEXT. This happens in W10 too; however, the fonts are worse with Clear type enabled. I don't recall this occuring in W7

6. I reinstalled W11 again (reformatting the drive) another time just to be sure if I missed something. This time I didn't enable Clear type. But the issues remain within the Settings area, but everywhere else it's fine.

7. I went back to W10. My fonts are fine and I didn't enable Clear type.

My takeaway is that W11 is buggy at least for my almost year old laptop. Lenovo doesn't have any new drivers for W11 except some IT deployment too.

I will stay with W10 for another frew years or until I'm forced to upgrade because I need a particular feature or an application requires it.
