This doesn't show in File Explorer, I have it removed, there.
But since the August Patch Tuesday, it's popped up, again, in places like... Save dialogs.

I don't use Libraries at all. I don't want to see them, anywhere.

To me, this looks like MS spilled a plate of spaghetti all over my computer. What a mess!
There are other problems with the August update, but this one bothers me more than the others.

Anyone (@Brink), have a solution for this MS mess?


Short version... I'd love being able to remove Libraries completely from Windows.
But short of that, I just don't want to "see" them... anywhere.
Except in my User folder, and only when I go in there looking for them.

I'm not sure if it's the third party app you're using. Not seen Libraries show up in a long time. I've actually have to use 'Everything' search to find them.

Well I don't see it in Paint or Notepad.
But I also have no "preference" for the "Save as" dialog in Paint Shop Pro 7.04
I don't remember seeing all that junk in PSP, before the August patch.

I wonder if @Bree sees all that stuff. He also uses PSP 7.04


I use PSP so much that I don't even really think about it. But since the August patch, every time I see that Save As - location drop down box, it feels like I grabbed the wrong kind of screwdriver.

So... I wouldn't bet my life that it's been changed... but I'm pretty sure. ^^

I never got into any Spiderman stuff, but every time I see that drop down box and it's choices...
my spidey-sense starts tingling. LOL




Who knows. Maybe it's just early onset dementia. :D
But it still "feels"... wrong.



There were two things that I definitely KNOW were changed.
1. The taskbar small icons are gone.
2. Dragging and dropping files to the Desktop, don't "land" beneath my normal Desktop icons... they "land" one up.
3. And possibly... this Paint Shop Pro thing.


I feel like MS is playing three card Monte with me... and I'm losing.




Even though the drag/drop indicator line is below, my XnView shortcut...
But when I "save" an image in PSP... it "lands" where it's supposed to.
