Been trying to my FX V2 running on my second desktop... Win 10 Pro.
Mobo: ASUS TUF GAMING Z790 PLUS WIFI

Drivers i've managed to find and try are:

Sound Blaster FX Series Driver 6.0.105.0016.exe
SBAF_CD_L13_1_00_07.exe

Installed each driver while the speakers are on and connected.

My soundcard remains undetected.

I had a similar problem with my internal DVD burner, which was solved by setting ASPM to disabled.

Dont know anything about PCI-Express so i thought it would be safer to leave it alone.

Only option in sound settings is HD Audio, No mention of sound Blaster.
I do get sound through the HD Audio while my speakers are connected via headphones in the FX V2.
All HD Audio devices have MS drivers.

Open PowerShell as administrator and list the devices Windows sees but has no working driver for:

Get-PnpDevice -PresentOnly | Where-Object Status -ne 'OK' | Select-Object Status,Class,FriendlyName

If a PCI Device or Multimedia Audio Controller shows up there, the card is detected and the driver didn't install for it. Uninstall that device in Device Manager, then run the Sound Blaster FX Series installer again.

If nothing new shows up, Windows isn't seeing the card on the PCIe bus. Shut down, unplug the power, and move the card to another PCIe slot. If it still doesn't show up, disable ASPM in the BIOS the same way you did for the DVD burner. You can turn it back on later if it changes nothing.

Just a little better. It uses the Realtek codec, but at least it gets it off the board.

Did you disable HD Audio (realtek) in your bios? If not, they can conflict with each other.

I just reinstalled my Audigy FX v2 into my system two today.

First I installed the Application package KevTech posted above in post #4.
After installation the card was not detected. So I rebooted.
Once restarted, the app found I new driver so I let it install.
Another reboot and all was well.

Going to disable HD Audio in the BIOS, Managed to track down the 6.0.105.16 driver.

Tried the old school Audigy technique of installing. The FX drivers were installed with the FX removed, No sound.
Put the FX back in the tower sound on reboot, Still displaying as HD Audio.
I think that because the sound is obviously coming through the sound card, I'll leave it at that.

I'll mark the thread as solved.
