I believe it has something to do with 2 sound cards running at the same time but not certain. I tried uninstalling the Conexant which is the driver that came from HP but when using the Windows Driver the sound is too high pitch for me and I am unable to change it. I would like to use Conexant. When it crashes the audio and video goes to slow motion.
Are here any suggestions how to either have one sound card running or to change the high pitch when using the Windows Driver?
Conexant company went out of business stopped producing drivers the last one was in 2014. See issues with Conexant and Windows 10. Fix Conexant SmartAudio HD No Sound issue for Windows 11/10
Looks like that is what you are using.Try filling in System Specs on your profile so get better idea what PC or laptop maybe using.
How old is system ? Right Click Conexant Audio device manager shown in your pic and select update driver Search Automatically.
