Sound driver no longer working for an installed program
My PC did an update a few months ago and now my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation, specifically Steinberg's Nuendo} no longer plays sound when using it. What can I do to fix this issue? It worked with the application prior to that update.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Does anything else play audio files? Also check the keyboard, if it's a multi-media it has key combinations for hardware control of the output.

Everything else, system sounds (including iTunes), emulators for NES, N64 and Genesis all play sound no problem. It's just Nuendo I have sound issues with. Not a multi-media keyboard. It's a Dell KB3121Wt Wireless Combo Keyboard & MS3121Wt Mouse (both in white (came with my Dell PC))

Sorry, never seen one is white in several years. According to this image [on E-Bay listings] the keys F1 through F7 or maybe in combination with Fn are multi-media, volume up/down, fast-forward, etc.

Okay. The image shows the same keys as for the black one having the multi-media symbols, should operate the same. My Dell keyboard is not multi-media at all, too old [only used on my test/work bench].
