Just installed SAB win 11, Works OK, Using Win7 style. At start, left panel keeps listing stuff I installed. I rt clk and set to remove from list but they keep coming back and list too long to display all. How do I actually permanently remove some from the list?

Hello, and welcome to the forum. :alien:

Usually option 3 or 4 in this tutorial should remove them. You might also check the app's settings to see if there may be one that keeps adding it to run at startup.

Thanks,

I'm not trying to remove the apps; just names form the list.
Many are setup by me to run at PC startup.
Settings: Installed apps list offers no choices except to uninstall for the apps in question. This "should" be a SAB issue, not an OS problem as the apps run OK and run at startup as desired.
Is there a SAB folder to manage the left pane start list? I know how to drag n drop to add shortcuts. Remove from list does so, but they come back automatically Is there a SAB setting to stop automatic add to list?
Is this a problem for certain apps because not all apps do this behavior; I can list the app names if it helps?

Try the 'Unpin from Start Menu' choice instead of 'Remove from this list'.

Some have few choices, but now some have a "remove from send to menu"; so doing so and will check again tomorrow. Noe so far have "unpin" from anything.
Oddly none are in the "send to" folder

I'm also trying: "pin to start menu", then "remove from this list"

Al these new choices just started; were not there anytime earlier.

So far nothing working. CoPilot says items are rebuilt coming from win11 OS, not from nor controlled by SAB. Can fix using reg edit to stop recent and other lists I'm not willing to do. Caused by using win 7 SAB style. Can live with this. Case closed

I don't think I've fully grasped the issue, but..., as long as you're content with it! (y)
