Sticky Keys enabling and bricking PC - despite being disabled everywhere

Hi!

Sorry if the language I use is not specific enough, I'm a regular user, just can't find any solution to this problem and I'm ready to walk into any corner of the internet to find help.

This is now a reoccuring problem. I've installed Windows 11 this June, everything worked fine for a while. I noticed that my CTRL key stuck - everything's fine with my keyboard, it's pretty new, nothing was pressing the actualy key on the keyboard. After like half an hour everything was fine again. I wasn't working, just watching videos, so I only noticed it because of pages zooming in out when I scrolled.

Later I realized that I somehow enabled sticky keys, because screen keyboard showed now it wasn't just CTRL, it was ALT, SHIFT and CTRL on both sides. So basically can't do anything, can't even type properly.

I tried everything I found online on this:
  • disabling sticky keys in EVERY setting menu - settings, control panel. Input filtering is disabled as well.
  • changing flags (regedit -> control panel -> stickykeys -> flags to 506)
  • keyboard diagnostics - everything’s fine
  • updating drivers - all up to date
  • checking if i have any weird auto run apps (none)
  • checking malware (clean and squeaky)

Reinstalled Windows - sticky keys enabled itself right on the first start.

Honestly I am at my wits end here.

PC specs if needed:
motherboard: aorus b550 elite v2
processor: amd ryzen 5700x 8 core
keyboard: ardor blade ver 2 (tried with another cheap but working keyboard and still got this problem so i don’t think it’s the keyboard)

I've seen this problem being posted a lot on other forums, and it seems like there's no solution at all - even talked to a guy who, a year later, still suffers through it, but it seems he can turn sticky keys off with 5 presses like the god intended lol. That doesn't work for me as well.

I know you say it's not your keyboard, but have you used another one just to be sure.

You say you reinstalled windows. That can mean several things...clean install, repair install, reset and remove everything, reset and keep files...which one?

Also have you tested using another user account?

You probably found this but in case not, see if anything in it helps. Turn On or Off Sticky Keys in Windows 11

Hey, thanks for the reply!
Yup, tried another keyboard - different brand, too, still got the problem.

I tried both repair and reset and keep files reinstall, need to get a drive before clean install first.

And yes, I tried everything from that thread, sadly nothing helped.

I know this should've been one of the first things to try, but since everything else worked fine and I just got this motherboard this May, it didn't occure to me for some reason. I tried plug my keyboard (it's usb, not bluetooth) to another usb slot, the one on the case, and it seems like it helped, so I wonder - could it be the problem with motherboard USB? My mouse, speakers and LED strip plugged into motherboard usb slots, and they work completely fine. Also I've seen this problem appear and reappear as well, so I'm still not sure it's keyboard or USB

Another thing to try. Disconnect any and all external externals. Connect mouse and KB to the 2 usb 2.0 ports on the rear of the computer.
Test it out that way. I suggest this because I had my mouse connected to one of my 3.1 usb ports. I had an eternal drive connected to another 3.1 port. My mouse went crazy at times. There was some kind of interference across the ports caused by the external drive and it didn't matter what port I used. Once I moved the mouse and KB to the 2.0 usb ports(which is where they are supposed to go), everything worked.
