When I turn this machine on, I see a different picture each time that remove by clicking, before I can get to my own desktop picture & log-in window. How do I stop the first picture from appearing ?

Hello Brink,

Lock screen.....Well, what on Andromeda, is the point of that ?

My W10 (that replaced a beilligerent W7) appears with various pictures, my name & time in the centren but then politely vanishes, leaving my own landscape picture.

The next time & fire up 11, I'll have a go at disabling the lock screen !

Be warned...I could be back with a long list of stuff to be disabled !!

That's ok.

It's normal to see the lock screen first that has to be dismissed to then see the sign-in screen.

You can either remove the password from your account or configure Windows to login automatically so you shouldn't see the lock screen unless you manually lock the computer to go away for a while.
