strange issues

Good evening, so here is what's going on:

  • Anytime I click on a link on a wen page, it opens a new browser instance. As an exaple., this website as I clic and moce around in the forum, anytime I click on anything, a new browser instance in started, so in just a short time, I will havce 10-20 web browsers on my desktop.
  • Sometimes the mouse stops scrolling using the scroll wheel - mostly on my web browser, at other times, does it on anything I open up
I do not know if this is a single problem or their are a couple of things going on, I have re-installed widows I chose to save my files, but the issues still happens, really don't want to have to reinstiall and erase everything unless I really need to.

also when restarting windows< at times they keyboard is unresponsive both the onboard and the usb keyboard are dead< and have to use the onscreen so log in.

I have ran SFC and dism and did not change anything

You failed to mention what browser you are talking about. I use Chrome and have it set so that, when I click on a link, a new tab is opened, not a new browser. At any time, no matter how many tabs I have opened, only one copy of Chrome is running. Look under the Settings for the browser that you are using. Issues with your browser should not require re-installing windows.

Personally, I keep my number of browser tabs at a minimum (usually 4), because browsers use a lot of memory, disk, and CPU time.

Same is true for all main browsers e.g. Edge, Firefox etc.

Tip: When deciding on a thread description, try and make it relative to your problem and more descriptive.

That way, others might see it and provide a solution. Also, if others see your problem after it was resolved, then it may help them too.

No one will ever benefit from a thread description of "strange issues", except for maybe you.
