Suggested add-on for Bass/Treble sound control?

Are there any nifty little bits I could add in to get some control over Bass/Treble... maybe even Mids when using sound in Win 11? Something that hooks in for any program sending sound output?

You didn't mention what kind of speakers you have but if your hardware can’t reproduce low frequencies well (e.g., tiny laptop speakers), software can only do so much. You would want to invest on a good pair of speakers to achieve the sound that you are looking for.

As mentioned, you are looking for an equalizer.
There are many such, available.


My motherboard's Realtek sound driver came with one...

With an Equalizer you can add/remove amplitude (volume), for the various frequencies, from uber-bass, to screeching treble, and all the middle frequencies as well.

Most Laptops out of the box come with an Equalizer or Bass/Treble controls. In the form of an audio chipset control panel and an Overlay Audio App.

Mine came with Realtek Audio Console Equaliser, and Nahimic overlay App with both an Equaliser and Bass, Mid, Treble controls, So 2 equalisers.
Adding another, obviously overkill/real bloatware.

I have a equalizer that is built into my browser (Chrome) and is installed as a Extension. It is simply called "Audio Equalizer", in the Chrome Web Store, and it works great. It has multiple presets available and custom presets. I connect to Amazon Music which then sends my audio to my amp (PYLE PDA89BU) via Blue Tooth. The equalizer is fully active for the connection.
