Dell XPS 15: Windows 11 22H2 Build 22621.3155
I have two Dell XPS laptops, both running Windows 11. I just today noticed that, on my XPS 15, the method I normally used to get the "Connect to a Wireless Display" option does not work. My normal route to this is to swipe in from the right edge of the touch screen. This now opens the Notification area, but I cannot find anything that looks like offering connection to my Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter.
Dell XPS 13: Windows 11 22H2 Build 19045.4046
On this machine, evidently on an earlier build of Win 11, swipe from right edge still does what I expect, presenting a "Connect" tab.
So, obviously something got changed in an update on the newer (XPS 15) machine, but how do I get it back to my preferred way of quickly connecting to a wireless display? I can get to it by going into Settings, where an option to Connect to a Wireless Display is included, or by swiping up from the lower right edge of the screen and selecting "Cast", but it's annoying having to remember two different shortcuts to the same feature on different machines running the same OS. I assume the XPS 13 is not up to supporting the same build as the later XPS 15, so updating that one to match is not an option. Is there a way to get both UIs behaving the same way?
