Sync'ing a Hyper-V VM between two systems

If you only use the default switch, vm guest would be behind a NAT firewall and vm guest would be invisible to the other devices. This is to provide more protection to vm guest from other network pcs as it makes networking more difficult. However, as it is only you on all devicea, this is rather pointless.

I cannot say how well goodsync would work between multiple devices but one being a vm should not be a problem.

The Windows 11 Guest has ZERO internet connectivity problems.
Much as I like HYPER-V it needs to be a lot more flexible -- Windows since its inception has never been great on Networking !!!

You can see on this laptop the bridge (br0) is connected to the appropriate interface and working -- doesn't matter if the other interfaces don't exist on the machine -- the VM works on a whole slew of different machines without issue (the Windows system is a VL license so no probs on that side).

I have a lot more respect for Windows than a few year ago but its HUGE BUGBEAR for me has always been the wayward way of its Networking -- seems a total lottery as to whether it works or not.
