System Reboots After Morning Startup

W11 Home v. 25H2 bld. 26200.8655
The system is shut down during the night time and after powering up and signing on, it will reboot shortly afterwards. It started about a week ago and appears to occur after the daily Windows Defender update. I don't have WD configured to run as I am using Norton360 for security. I have changed nothing in WD since W11 was installed. Is this normal now, or do I need to set something in WD?

I run Bitdefender Total Security (AV and firewall), and don't seem to have that problem.
You may have to turn off MS Defender periodic scanning... RED box.

Or... if Norton360 doesn't have a firewall, that could be the cause?
I don't even get Defender updates.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 15 years?
I’d actually go into the BIOS and reset to defaults (Then re-apply any changes in the BIOS you need) I generally associate random shutdowns with a BIOS issue… Past experiences.

Next time it reboots, take note of the time and check the event viewer for corresponding issues or actions.
Perhaps also Check your Task Scheduler for anything odd.

most likely in Advanced system settings 'restart on all errors' is enabled

in the search bar put advanced
then on that menu click advanced system settings

in advanced system settings window at the bottom
'start-up and recovery' click settings button

in start-up and recovery window at the bottom
'in the system failure section untick/disable 'automatically restart'

then click OK then click apply to save settings.
