After updating to OS Build: 22610.1 or the latest beta, system tray is missing.
This is a known issue, Microsoft have it in the release notes for this build. Some on this build (including me) have found that it may reappear after a restart.

Microsoft said:
Known issues
  • [NEW] After upgrading to Build 22610, the “Show hidden icons” flyout in the system tray may disappear completely for some Insiders, even though it shows as “on” under Settings > Personalization > Taskbar and “Other system tray icons”. We are investigating the issue. As a workaround if you need access to the icons that would show in the “Show hidden icons” flyout, you can go right-click on taskbar to open the Taskbar settings page, navigate to the “Other system tray icons” and individuals toggle specific apps to “On” until the issue is resolved.

If you want 'stable' then you shouldn't be running a Dev Channel Insider build. You should be on the 22000 release build.

Microsoft said:
The Dev Channel is for highly technical users.... These aren't always stable builds, and sometimes you will see issues that block key activities or require workarounds while flighting in this channel.

@Bree was not being snarky. It is a fact that ALL Insider versions are riskier than release versions. The comment that triggered the response was "Why does Microsoft always have such silly issues?"

Seasoned Insiders always expect the unexpected.

Yes that’s right. I am in Beta channel and like gander said: “We want the less snarky”. And disappeared hidden menu icon really a silly bug with me… and of course I am still expect the unexpected. Just comment about a bug is not allowed?

I don’t make this topic, I am just the one had the same issue with the topic owner and just said that is a silly bug in Beta Channel. So new member can not comment like that they think Insiders build have a silly bug?

and like gander said: “We want the less snarky”.

Yes, the opinion of everyone here, new and old, has equal merit, but @Bree answer was backed up with readily available FACTS, so how either of you could call it snarkiness is beyond me. Release notes are the first place one should look if he encounters issues on an insider build.
