Hi all.
I have and i try to solve this problem. I have this info at Reliability monitor :

error.jpg

The two files are OK at my disk. But as i saw with Nirsoft's "RegDllview" , SystemSettings.dll is unregistered.
Also when i try to register it (via command prompt or RegDllview) i take errors and i cannot register it.
Is that normal ?
Thanks.

If you can open Settings app, you should not worry or you can execute below command to register SystemSettings.dll.

Code:
regsvr32.exe SystemSettings.dll /f

UWP dll's don't need to be registered they are contained within the app. I think a repair install will benefit you as the component store cant' fix it with Appx.

I don't know how to use RegDllview utility to get that information, but i have no problem with Settings app.

Make sure to execute Sfc /scannow command.

If it is OK as unregistered , this is not the cause of the problem , that i want to check.
I will dont make repair install. The problem is minor , reapair install taking hours , there is not guarantee that it solve this problem , and will miss tweaks and settings.
Thanks.

Just run RegDllview and make a search for SystemSettings.dll. If you see it at results is registered. I haven't it.

So my system is OK. As you can see here and if you search at internet for the same crash , looks like is a bug of Windows 11 , for some systems (also you can see a permantly solution that i posted). I will wait updates to fix that. Thanks.

Well, then what is the problem? You asked if the dll needs to be registered I said no. You have a corrupt file according to the Reliability thingy - I would just take the time and repair it properly instead of looking for a quick-fix.

1) The problem is 2 sections (optional update and 1 more) at Windows Update crashes (auto-close settings when select them).
2) I searched if systemsettings.dll as unregistered causes the problem. So according the answer of Free Booter , the answer is not.
3) What you mean when you said "....take the time and repair it..." ? Repair install ? As i said i will not do a repair install and i told the reasons.
Thanks.

Make a backup of your broken install then try repair install - if still not happy restore your broken backup... Up to you - Good luck.
