Taskbar after 15 items how do I retrieve those that have moved off the edge

Is there any way to get at those items that go "Invisible" when you've reached 15 on the task bar -- surely there should be somewhere a feture to show those that have "gone hidden", They must be somewhere because when you delete an item from the task bar one of the "Invisible" items re-appears, !!

so it's a problem if you don't want an uncluttered desktop.
