Solved Taskbar jump list

Windows 11 Pro
One of my jumplists contains a filename it cannot find and asks if I want to remove it from the list. However it always fails to remove it. I thought if I could find it and delete it in the registry that should fix it but that hasn't fixed it either. Where else might it be hiding?

Nothing helpful there but thanks for looking. This system has been restored to an earlier version more than once so it's likely this jump list entry belonged to an earlier version and no longer exists. Pure speculation though.

Seems a bug to me. Why should Windows shows a file name that actually does not exist? Or may be a hidden file?

You should be able to disable jump list using this tutorial which will clear jump list.s Then restart, and re-enable it. This is not the same tutorial you were referred to above.
