Solved Taskbar Three Levels

A couple of weeks ago my taskbar changed from two to three levels - reason is the weekday is now included on a third (middle) level between the time above and date below. I've been googling for an answer and have tried all suggestions but can't get rid of the weekday! All the settings seem to apply to just the short date/long date. I know I can add the weekday to the date line - but how to get rid of it as a separate entry? Please help someone! HP laptop, Windows 11 version 22H2.

Solved - right click on Taskbar, go to Toolbars, uncheck Internet Explorer. All back to normal. I just had to reinstall my quick launch afterwards.
