Hi again,
Bikeit
Bear with me. I’ve only been using Hasleo for about a month, so I can only share so much.
To be clear, I was incorrect about Cloning a drive. (1 & 2)
It can be done in Hasleo backup but I don’t believe it is what you really want.
However, you could always find an extra drive, clone your PC then disconnect the drive and save it somewhere in case of a severe emergency.
Please note,
Bikeit: All the tutorials are listed here, they are simply explained:

Take time to review this post, Ommmmmmmm
There are always the Hasleo tutorials, regardless: —>
There are a few ways to enter the recovery environment (bootable WinPE medium) to restore a system image with Hasleo:
- Adding the Boot Menu
- From within Windows using Hasleo
- Booting from the USB rescue media
Add/Remove Boot Menu
You can add a boot entry that points to the bootable WinPE medium in the Windows boot menu, so that you can quickly start WinPE to perform backup, restore and other operations.
You only need to
click "Tools" (1) > "Add Boot Menu" to add the boot entry
(2)
- The Boot Menu will install.
You can also
remove the boot menu in the same section using the same button after you have used it. The Add boot menu changes to
Remove after adding it is completed if you don't want it anymore
(3 & 4)
- After installing the boot menu, when you restart Windows, a menu will appear.
- You are asked to choose between Windows 11 or Hasleo
- (5) select an environment to boot to
- If you make no selection (maybe you aren’t at your desk after turning on the computer) Hasleo will boot to the default setting.
- The default setting can be chosen in the boot menu at boot time when it first shows.
- The time the menu displays for before it boots to the set default environment can also be changed to various time settings. I think the shortest is 3 seconds.
- To set tese options, do the following:
- (6) Change the settings for the boot menu (easy)

When the Windows operating system crashes or the disk where the Windows is located is damaged, you can restore the original Windows operating system from the system backup image created before.

Booting to the USB for Hasleo restore
(Or testing the USB recovery drive)
- As I don't know the model of your ZBook, you will have to search how to boot to a USB at startup. I am assuming most if not all Zbooks have the same process.
- After booting to the USB, Hasleo will start to load, be patient.
- The interface will look just like it does in Windows
- Once started, the process should be easy if not the same as above.
- At worst, you will need to direct Hasleo to the backup folder you want to restore, but they should be listed already.
