If it still doesn't boot, you might want to consider checking the cables (?) on the drive your backups are stored on.

The backups "should" fix this problem. Since they don't seem to be, I'd check anything in the path from the drive where the backups are stored... to the drive you're trying to restore. And ofc... something that may have changed in the BIOS.

I can't think of what else might be causing the problem.

I guess the file you used to flash the BIOS may have gotten corrupted, somehow. Re-flashing the BIOS with a newly downloaded BIOS file... might be something else to try.
I've always assumed a corrupted BIOS file wouldn't succeed when you flashed... but ya never know.

All we know for sure is...

1. The comp worked before the BIOS flash.
2. The BIOS flash succeeded ?? BIOS settings were checked.
3. Now the comp won't boot.
4. For some reason, restoring from a "good" Macrium backup... is succeeding, but not solving the problem.
5. You ran chkdsk on the Windows (NVMe), drive, and that came up clean ??
6. You ran sfc /scannow on the Windows partition, and that came up clean ??
7. You rebuilt the BCD a few times ??

I don't see how all these things could have been successful, at the same time.

Seems restore time tripled without using delta rapid option.

Answer to all questions is yes. You made me think now that maybe i noticed my msi board restarted at 80% of the flashing process but not sure. If current restore was not successful i will flash it again. Thanks

doesnt contain valid information for an operating system.

You know from the message that bootmgr has started up and had a look in the bcd store.

I would have a look at the bcd store with something like bootice, it might give an idea what the damage is.

you could post a screenshot of the entries.

I created new efi and msr partitions then used commands

bootrec /scanos
bootrec /fixmbr
bootsect /nt60 sys
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /rebuildbcd

problem remain

If like i suggested that you deleted and have recreated BCD file have not resolved the problem try to repair EFI System Partition.

In this video, i will guide on how to repair EFI System Partition (ESP), if the system partition has been corrupted, you can use BCDBoot command to recreate the system partition files by using new copies of these files from the Windows partition.

Scratching my head over this, like @Ghot and the others here.

In that thread, I found that cloning from my original OS disk to my new, empty NVMe worked, when the restoring operation from an MR image didn't work to get the new NVMe to boot (even with the full OS and all patitions present). See post #15 in that thread.

The problem with the cloning solution is that you've got to have the original OS disk still available, and that's surely not the case for you. If you had that solution available, the cloning operation would give you drive C: on the new NVMe, and would change the C: letter on the old OS disk to something else. And in Disk Management, the new C: drive would have the "Boot" descriptor, while the old C: drive (with a new letter) would NOT have the "Boot" descriptor.

@Wisewiz that made my pc go into troubles also with windows updates and i had to reinstall windows .

Only other thing I see (not shown in your BIOS manual, but should look similar)...

This is my BIOS, but yours should look about the same. [Boot tab > Boot Option Priorities...]

I remember, I kept trying to put my SSD first, like the old days, and it wouldn't work.
I had to put Windows Boot Manager first.

The more I think about it... the more I start to believe that we're getting away from what made sense and...
"just plain worked". LOL
