Yeah, so could I, IF, IF, IF my daily driver software an on Linux.I've been playing around with Mint Cinnamon on an old, underpowered machine and am loving it. I think Ubuntu would work for me just as well. Yeah, I have 4 Windows 11 PCs in this house, but I truly think I could say goodbye to Windows in a heartbeat and never look back.
Sometimes I think that Microsoft should do what Apple did after Steve Jobs returned from Next. Rehost the OS GUI on top of a UNIX-based kernel. That would drive a lot of software to have a Linux-based version, and simplify the world for everyone. And maybe have a version of Windows 11 without the strict security requirements.
