I have a selfie of myself in G:\OneDrive\Pictures\SD Card it's just a normal Jpg file. All other photos have a preview of the photo in the folder (I can see the photo in thumbnail) however this one doesn't , it has a generic blue icon. Only when I hover my mouse of the icon, I can see the photo preview. Why is this one not showing up as a photo thumbnail in the folder like all the rest are? I copied the photo file to my desktop and it still shows the generic photo icon... I am stumped. I have done a sfc /scannow and there are no issues present.. I can't work this out... Help needed , thanks.

For starters, I would save the selfie in a different format (e.g. .tiff).
If it doesn't work then I would go back to the original (.jpg) format.
Sometimes this little trick works with audio files, so why not give it a try with pictures?

And finally I would "play" with Windows Explorer View options: make a few changes a couple of times from, say, Tiles to List, then to Large icons and then to Compact view and so on and so forth.
