Time for new system hdwe upgrade

My pc is 6 yrs old, so I'm gonna update it with a new case, mobo, proc, ram... keep the C: nvme, 2 SATA drives, 750W PSU, monitors. I did this for my last system but it was different cause it was a W10 system that I upgraded to W11 after doing the TPM, etc stuff. Been reading but want to confirm a few things:
My W11Pro is an upgrade from my old W7Pro... it is a digital copy linked to my MS account, so I'm reading that I should be able to update it on the new system without issue? Do I need to contact MS before the move? When I moved from W10 to W11 it was pretty seamless, but I think it was the same mobo/proc. May have even bee a free upgrade from 10-11? Six years of brain cell deterioration doesn't help. lol.
Next, since I had to fight with the W11/hdwe upgrade, I guess the new system should be all compatible with no W11 issues for the update?

I'm pretty sure it won't automatically activate due to a complete hardware change, so you will probably have to get MS involved. But to complicate the issue further is the fact your current digital license is tied to an underlying Windows 7 product key as well as being tied to the old hardware. MS no longer allows one to activate 11 with a 7 key. I hope I am wrong, but I'll bet MS will require you to purchase a new license for 11. You won't know until you see what activation throws at you.

If necessary, you can change the country at the top right. I don't know if you plan on getting a vid card too,

I don't know if you want one of those "Ultra" CPUs or not (for AI etc.), but I put one in the build.
The CPU doesn't come with a cooler. But I don't know what kind you already have, so I left the cooler out.

It's all compatible.

If your current PC is linked to your MS account and you have a Retail license (which is very likely) you can move the license to your new hardware by untying the license from your old PC. MS makes this very easy and it's done during activation of your new hardware.

I just did this a few weeks back.

I would call Microsoft to activate by phone. I would claim my old motherboard died, so I upgraded. There should be possible to activate again. In worst case you buy a new key, but it's worth trying.

What's a phone ??? I din't think Ms has an "activare" by phone any more. Like mosdt companis topday customer service is rarely if ever existent and they alawys say "use our website" to see if your query cab be dealt with" and finding an actual phone number with real humans at the other end almost impossible.

Why on earth can't those CEO's / managers etc who must have pea sized branes with an I.Q of about 8 ever understand that given the general hideous experience by users with call centres ever realize that 99.9999% of people would hardly bother with the phone if they could already get the answer on the web site.

I just did this a few weeks back.

I've been doing that ever since W7 and at least 10 different HW/systems (I upgrade system every 2 years) using even much older MS account (1995 and first internet use) and it always worked as long as it was same Pro distribution. That way you don't even have to enter key or anything, just log in with MS account which also can be Hotmail. If you don't want to be tied to or use MS account you can always make local account and use it instead. Just store or write down your user name and password.

There is zero reason to do any phone activations here.

Simply install the OS on the new PC and sign in with your Microsoft account. Once you do that, the license should activate. You can check by going to Settings, Activation, click the "Activation state" down arrow and you should see "Windows is Activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account"

Simple. No rocket science procedures. No phone calls. Simply sign in with a Microsoft account.

Windows license renewed successfully. There was an option that asked if this is a hardware upgrade. New system is nice.
