Lol - I feel ya. I've ... struggled with it in the center. It's getting a bit better now, but I'm re-vamping my taskbar groups, and I'm slightly thrown off again....
I did the reg hack and have mine on the top. Where it belongs when I have to use Skype when the Sr. Center is closed.

I absolutely hated it in the middle, and I'm not a fan of having to click twice to get to All Apps. Gonna see if I can get it on the taskbar.

I absolutely hated it in the middle....
I'm actually beginning to appreciate it being in the middle, especially now I've pinned my frequently used apps to the taskbar and rearranged them so my most used ones are in the middle. They are always there 'front & center' whenever I need them. ;)

fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October.

I just found out if you RC on start you get the pop up shown below.
Just in case you didn't know how completely editable that RC-on-Start (Win+X) menu is, maybe have a look at this. It doesn't even have to be installed, and it lets you take out anything you never use (or that you get to in another way) and add in any program you'd like to have handy right there. It says Windows 10 and 8 still, but it works perfectly on 11, and updates don't affect the changes you make.

Is there windows feedback to make MS put some love into the light theme? The light theme looks ridiculous, it even ignores theme colors unlike dark mode, which I am forced to use to keep some consistency, but it hurts my already weakened eye. :look:

I "like" rounded corners, and I definitely don't like change, just for the sake of change.
I even like rounded corners on ElevenForum thumbnails...

I use WinDynamic for my Desktop - changes wallpaper with the time of day - in my case wallpaper is all Mojave Desert from Apple and changes are very subtle based on time in my time zone. Kinda fun to watch the sun rise and set on the same scene . Here is day at 9:30 am and a night shot (Taskbar is blue on actual night shots) - 22 other wallpapers in between, based on time of day.
