We all know that windows 11 will require TMP 2.0 this is what I was able to see in my BIOS. After selecting it I got a pop in screenshot 2 now this was kind of scary for me to read that I will not be able to boot into my system if anything goes wrong and I cannot take the risk without knowing much about it. Can someone having the same keyboard and having specs as mine for my system specs 1 be kind enough to please shed some light on this. Since I am a noob and I do not want to mess up my windows installation please. Share some step by step guide for me. Stay blessed.

Regards,
Kufr

You want to Enable the AMD fTPM switch.

IF you use Bitlocker... DON'T lose the recovery key.
On a side note. If that ever happens, you can reset the BIOS to defaults, which will "disable" the AMD fTPM switch.
Mine is the same...

You don't need to use BitLocker. In File Explorer you can right click on a drive to see if Bitlocker is on or off.

It should be quite harmless operation, switching TPM on does not mean that it will immediately encrypt or even destroy your bootable drive. When you switch on TPM in BIOS, it will be shown in the Device Manager as a security device, that's all. As for BitLocker, you can switch it on or off, or even never touch it if you don't want to have an encrypted drive and be obliged to keep the key safely (for example, you may instead prefer to store all private data on external drives or encrypt the files individually).

I would just like to remind that creating a full system backup before any important operation with file system is never excessive.
