This is kind of a short rant so only read it if you want. I think I got band from either my closest America's Best or or all of the Americas Best stores. I had made appointments for my wife and I for our eye examinations. To save time I filled out all of the paperwork on line when I made the appointments. When we got there the person at the counter said that we had to fill out the paper work to which I replied that I had already filled them out online. We had a short discussion about it. We did keep it calm though. finally they said I take it you won't fill it out and said something to the affect of let me check something out and she went to another counter and was talking to somebody. While we were waiting another person took our insurance cards and told us we could have a seat ing the waiting area. While waiting I did fill out the paper work and when I took it back to the person at the desk I was informed that when they tried entering the insurance information my name wasn't coming up. I decided to cancel our appointments until i found out what was going on. When I called the insurance company the rep had no problem finding me and my wife in their system. He called the store to get it straitened out. He called me back and said he had a talk with the same person and was told a few things and that they don't accept Aetna insurance. We used it last year with no problem. I think he was being nice and didn't want to say that they wouldn't accept me as a patient. They also told him that I used a different eye care provider last year. I never had another eye care provider. I had him email me a list of eye doctors near me that did accept Aetna. To my surprise there were a couple of America's Best listed. The only problem is they're further away and in Pennsylvania. I'm going to check with my son and see were he goes.
